From Kazakhstan The Kokshetau area, which is located in Northern Kazakhstan, is often referred to as Switzerland. Burabai is the regional term for Switzerland.
The green wall of the forest is the only thing that you come across in the middle of the yellow burnt everlasting plain. Amazing things may be found there, such as hillocks that are covered in trees, rocky ridges, imaginative piles of boulders that seem like fairy giants, and ghosts that are as quiet as lakes that have been enchanted. This enigmatic country is known as Burabai, often referred to as Borovoe.
The word “bura” in Kazakh is written as “camel.” There is a long-standing myth that describes a prophetic camel that was once a resident of the Burabai area. Honey herbage did not in any way dampen his instincts; he was the first person to predict the terrible fate that was about to befall the people. After that, he transformed himself into a tulpar, which is a horse, and soared to the highest point of Kokshetau, therefore protecting the people from the impending disaster.
Over the course of many centuries, former ship timbers and tranquil lakes that were teeming with fish and animals provided as a safe haven for humans. Archaeologists discovered primitive bronze armory on the area of Burabai. This armory dates back to the Bronze Age. There is evidence that Burabai was inhabited not only by hunters but also by farmers and livestock breeders, as shown by the excavation of towns and burial molds that date back to the bronze period. This oasis was often traversed by Scythian tribes who were engaged in gold and ore mining projects.
The city of Burabai does not own any substantial cultural monuments. Nevertheless, its tales and environment are just as impressive as some magnificent castles and palaces. The mineral storehouse in Burabai was a generous gift from nature, which bestowed treasures onto the city. They are classified as follows: Okzhetpes is the most beautiful crag in the area (the Kasakhs used to refer to it as “one can’t reach it by an arrow”), Zhumbaktas (puzzle-stone), which is located in the Burabai bay and resembles either a mysterious sphinx with frozen fearless traits or a thoughtful young man with hair flying; vast stony sculptures that resemble a camel, a dog, or a cow.
Borovoye has extremely low highs, with the highest points being between 500 and 600 meters at the markings of the cuttings in the waters, between 300 and 400 meters in the lakes, and 947 meters at the Kokchetau Cliff. This is the highest peak of the Kokchetau mountain, also known as Blue Mountain. Burabai Mountain, which is located to the south and is 690 meters tall, provides a wonderful vantage point. Camel is what Burabai is. There are Shychinskiye deeps, which are located farther to the south. The deepest of them is known as Zheke-Batur, which is a solitary fighter that is 826 meters deep.
It would be impossible to avoid mentioning the lakes that are located in Borovoye. Quite a few are that. The green map of the forest is characterized by the shimmering appearance of Lakes Shychie, Borovoye, Big and Small Chebachie, and Koturkul.
Svetloye, Karasye, Gornoye, and Lebedinoye are some of the many small lakes that can be viewed from Kokchetau Cliff. The Blue Bay, which is located on the same lake as Borovoye, is the town’s most famous attraction. Mount Zhumbaktas, also known as the Shrine of the Sphinx, rises directly from the waters of the bay.
Every single name in this place has its own story. When one looks at Sphinx from various angles, for instance, one may see the face of a young woman with her hair waving, then the face of a woman, and finally the face of an elderly woman. This makes Sphinx an attractive subject to study.
The pine forest of Burabai is enjoyable at any time of the year and in any weather. The pine forest is blanketed in white snow during the winter months, there is a mild breeze that blows up the fragrant resinous waves during the summer months, and during the fall months, the forest smells the unusual air, which is a blend of wet pine rind with both mushrooms and herbs. Burabai is a resort that is well-known outside the borders of Kazakhstan. It is abundant in health clinics that operate in the field of climalology therapy as well as treatment using cumus, which is horse’s milk.
