The preliminary traffic data for the month of July 2024 have been made public by Etihad Airways, which is the designated national carrier of the United Arab Emirates.
An impressive average load factor of 89% was achieved by the airline throughout the month, which resulted in the arrival of 1.7 million passengers.
Antonoaldo Neves, the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, provided the following statement: “Our passenger numbers in July surged by 33% compared to the same period last year, underscoring our continuing great growth.”
Since the beginning of the year, we have provided service to 10.4 million passengers, which is an increase of 2.8 million compared to the same time period in the previous year. As of July 2024, our rolling 12-month passenger count has reached 16.8 million.
“Our great performance during a high summer time, in the middle of considerable capacity increase since 2023, is reflected in the load factor of 89% that we achieved in the month of July.
We currently service ten more destinations than we did a year ago, and our fleet continues to increase, going from 78 aircraft in July 2023 to 93 aircraft at the present time.
